CareerPaths in a nutshell

CareerPaths makes career progression visible. Its platform maps an organisation's roles, skills and career pathways, then uses that single set of data to power three things: software that helps employees see and plan their futures internally, public careers websites, and interactive careers tools for schools, outreach and sector promotion.

It is built by loyaltyMATTERS Ltd, which has been building careers websites and career frameworks for UK employers, sector bodies and the public sector for fifteen years.

Our research

Scoring how clearly UK employers show career progression

The UK Career Visibility Index assesses how well large UK employers communicate career progression to the people considering joining them and the people already working there.

The Index is editorially independent of everything CareerPaths sells. Its methodology, funding, editorial process and the rules on who can and cannot influence scoring are all published on the Index site.
